ABOUT US

UMANUM works for the development of cultural and creative industries in Haiti.

According to UNESCO, the cultural and creative industries are defined as sectors that combine the creation, production and marketing of goods and services.

The cultural and creative industries are characterized by creative minds. Whether they are authors, film directors, musicians, performing artists, visual artists, they are all guarantors of artistic quality, cultural diversity and creative renewal. The growth of the cultural sectors in Haiti nevertheless remains impeded because it is still largely informal and poorly organized.

UMANUM is part of the structuring of the different sectors of the culture and creation economy into a real revenue-generating sector. The expertise firm helps organizations define, develop and implement new ways of working that lead to sustainable and measurable results.

Our methodology is designed to involve actors from the cultural and creative sectors so that they implement effective action strategies and impactful projects.

Capacity building

UMANUM creates institutional and professional environments conducive both to artistic and cultural creation and to the dissemination of works and cultural products. The capacity and skills building offer is based on six areas of intervention: institutional and organizational support, fundraising, project management, training, communication and the development of tools and methods.

As part of supported projects, UMANUM raised and managed the allocated funding by these funders
